Pop Paul’s Birthday Signs

 

We had one mission – make a sign for Pop Paul and take a picture. I didn’t realize we were taking on such an impossible task!

Lesson 1 – Don’t wait until bed time to complete above mentioned task.

Elijah refused to be more than 2 inches from me so we’ll have to retake our picture after bedtime.

Peter was actually pretty cooperative.

Joey took some persuading… but smiled in the end.

Elijah…well Elijah just plain was not having it….

 

‘Mommy, why aren’t you holding me? It is clearly bed time.’

 

 

I’m clearly sad. I just can’t hold it together.

Now I’m running away. And yes, I’m still sad.

And what is this you keep shoving at me? Fine, I’ll play with you.

Does Anyone Actually Read This?

 

Doing lots of thinking lately.  (It’s what I do when there’s not much else going on.)  What do you do when you’re feeling a little lost? Like you do lots of stuff but you don’t do much.  And really, there’s probably not a whole lot of people that care about what you do anyway. It might be time to change what I do in my free time.  But what else is there to do? Plus, if I give up what I’m doing now with my free time, I’ll just commit to something else to fill up my free time.  Like I said, just feeling a little lost. (Don’t worry – this doesn’t make any sense to me either) In need of a good friend that just doesn’t exist I suppose. ‘

I hope these little boys always love each other as much as they do right now (at least when they’re not trying to kick each other!)

Craft Hour

 

We celebrated Ellen’s birthday yesterday (a great family friend) and so has come the end of my last craft project. Of which, of course, I have no pictures.  It is a weird feeling to have no projects on the horizon after all the crazy birthdays, church auction, youth group retreat, and other scattered little events of this winter.  So if anyone is listening up there – it is time to start getting warm now! It’s time for spring time walks, swinging on the swings, exercise and sunny days. 

But for now….

We’ll keep building marble shoots over and over again.

Here is Joey telling me that marble shoot isn’t high enough.
