Tim and Sarah’s Wedding

 

On Sept 10, 2011, Tim and Sarah got married in Michigan.

 

  On Thursday night, the wedding party and friends got together and celebrated at Dave and Busters. Katie, Sarah and Megan – new cousins!  Apparently there was a memo about wardrobe.

    Jenna and the boys came up on Friday after preschool.  We ate a delightful Applebees dinner in the hotel and headed over to rehearsal.

The church was next.  Peter and Dominic did a great job as ring bearers!  Hopefully someone got good pictures of them because we didn’t :) !

 

Tim and Sarah were stunning and shared a beautiful day with everyone.

  We’re going on a bear hunt. We’re going to catch a big one. What a beautiful day.  We’re not scared.  Oh wait – nevermind – we were just looking for a geocache! And we found it!!

  “Well Caroline, it’s me and you – they keep telling me to put this ball in that hole.  Seems silly to me.  Why use the stick?”

 

 

 

 

 

It’s a 7 hour drive home…we’re happy they still have their pants on really.  Peter needed to play with all his new toys from his cousin Adam. He was so nice to share ‘just a few’ with his brother.

Labor Day weekend

Yikes – it’s been over a week since my last post (as I have been reminded by several friends :) )  It has been quite a busy week, and we’re still amidst the marathon of events.  Last Wednesday we were in PA visiting my parents.  Peter and Joey loved playing marble chute, chickens, ditch, basement, playhouse and whatever else they could get their hands on.  We also were lucky to be with Greg and Jessica the first night. 

                                       

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pop pop and Ruru adopted a cat named Tiger.  He lives down by the shed and only likes to be held sometimes; so when he was up to it the kids seized the moment to pet him.

On Wednesday afternoon, we took Harrison, Meredith and Peter to see Winnie the Pooh in the theater.  The kids loved it and ate every last drop of popcorn!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On thursday evening Mark and I enjoyed a night away to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.  We ate dinner at the Moshulu and enjoyed a wonderful walk.  We took a few pictures but they are on a different camera (whose location is still being determined).  So this will have to be a good stopping point for now.  It must be time to pack for our next adventure!
