Our Poor Joey

Last Saturday Joey had a little accident.  He stood in his stroller facing backwards while Peter and Elli rode their bikes around him.  While shaking the stroller it fell backward and his fingers were smashed between the handle bar and the pavement.  Two of his finger nails ripped out :( After talking to the pediatrician there’s not much they can do.  So now he has two little band aides and duct tape on them.  He doesn’t seem too bothered.

Finally a beautiful day at the beach!

Jack and Allie (our new neighbors) were down at the beach when we got there so the kids had a great time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I dug a whole for Allie and Joey to play boats and Allie immediately got to work on giving Joey a exfoliating leg scrub.  The best part is he allowed it!

Uncle Andrew and Aunt Mandy visit

Last week, Mark’s sister Mandy and husband Andrew were in town for a few days for a friend’s wedding.  They were kind enough to share the excitement of the pool.

 

 

It did take a little while, but soon Peter was jumping off the side of the pool all by himself.  He would count for Uncle Andrew to jump in and then jump in himself.  Luckily Uncle Andrew was very patient :)

The new easy pj option for the boys is the throw them in the same thing – boxers and an undershirt.  Here’s a little pre bed time wrestle.  Joey loves nothing more than to play on Peter’s bed.

By suggestion of the Danino yogurt cups, I made a few popsicles and boy do the kids love them!  Joey is learning to say cheese.  Yum!  Welcome summer…

We had a great time and were sad to leave.  Hopefully we can go back again soon.

 

Next we went up to michigan and saw Mark’s parents, Dave and Anna, and a last minute appearance by Tim and Sarah.  The boys were hard at work washing windows and playing in the pool.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And now we are home again in Ohio trying to get back to a normal schedule and normal life.  Hopefully I can keep up with the updates!

Did you miss us?

We are home again after traveling to PA and MI. 

In Pennsylvania, we visited Jenna’s family and the biggest attraction was the baby chicks.  Peter basically adopted them and would check on them constantly.  It was amazing to see how much they grew while we were there.
