As I’m waiting my turn to take a shower, I uploaded some pictures and thought I should share…
Our morning on the beach with Kim and Brian.
We watched our backyard resident while we packed up for the beach.
We got a beta fish for the boys (joey named him ‘ish’ and tries to do a fishy face).
Kim assures me we can’t kill it.
Two weeks ago, Snoopy came to story time at the library. Peter and Joey each got a snoopy stuffed animal and a high five from Snoopy (as opposed to the more brave who got a hug). Our neighbor was kind enough to bring over the below picture that appeared in the Sandusky Register.
We had a fantastic weekend visiting with old friends. The weather wasn’t friendly enough for camping, but we managed to have some fun inside. Saturday afternoon cleared up for some beach time. Hopefully we can do it again next year with a few more attendees :)
(Sorry for Joey’s nudity. It is mostly our fault as we got lazy with the swim diapers.)

Anthony and Kristy came over from Pittsburgh. Joey was showing everyone how to be a beach bum.
Anthony and Lauren played mini pool while Peter Christy and Jenna played Candy Land. Joey played chutes and ladders. Polly joined in for a game of Cars.
We had a great night and hope everyone else did too!
Could be a movie title maybe?
Mark has been working hard at his old john boat – with a little help of course.
We ran out of paint on the first day so we had to get more. It’s all painted now and we’re just waiting for white letters to come in the mail. Then Mark has to fix the motor and we’ll be all set for boat rides! Mark is pretty excited. We also were very fortunate (due to the hard work of Dave and Anna) to bring home Tim’s beautiful wooden kayaks. We’re hoping to take them for a spin tonight to see what kind of repair work they may need.
Onto bubbles….
I blow a lot of bubbles and the boys do a lot of running and screaming.
Trip to Michigan…
This weekend we went up to Michigan for Tim and Sarah’s bridal shower. All the Cencer siblings were present so it was an awesome weekend. The uncles, Sarah and Mandy took Peter to a Tigers game. They had a blast. (I’ll post those pictures as soon as I find the camera Mark took to the game). On Sunday we showered Sarah with gifts!
Oh yes and did I mention that dave and anna brought Sunday and Squash. Joey renamed Squash ‘uh-oh’ and followed him everywhere.
Now we’re back home roasting in the hot weather. I’m hoping it cools off a little before out camping weekend!
Joey decided it was time to get down to business….in the past 3 weeks he has grown 1.5 inches! He also decided it was time to sit at the table with the rest of us. Thank you Ruru for the seat covers and the vinyl tablecloths…they are well used and well loved!
As usual, the neighborhood was nuts for the 4th of July. All the rentals were packed and we had beautiful weather! Tim and Sarah came to visit us as well. 
The neighborhood fireworks were Sunday evening. The kids enjoyed some sparklers before the big show began.

This weekend is the fair in our town….time to pack up the wagon.
