We had an amazing time last week on vacation. On Tuesday evening we drove to Peak n Peek in New York and stayed in an amazing condo thanks to some wonderful friends! On Thursday morning we headed over to Panama Rocks to check out the cool hiking trail full of caves and climbing.
Then we drove to Spruce Lake….
We’ve been keeping ourselves so busy I almost forgot the fun to be had with nothing to do.
We rode our bikes to the park, played with bouncy balls, and I pulled out the old play/train table.
The kids painted and played with beads most of the afternoon.
Looking forward to a little vacation next week!

We had an amazing visit with my parents and aunt and uncle last weekend for my birthday! The boys loved all the entertainment and fun!

It’s fair days here in Ohio and on Saturday morning Mark, Peter and Joey ran a race. Mark did the 5K….
Peter and Joey did the 1K Fun Run. Peter finished 3rd.
I did a terrible job taking pictures on the 4th.
The day begins with a bike parade in the neighborhood….complete with fire truck.
Daddy pushed Eli in the stroller.
And then, of course, there were 10:30 am sno cones.
We spent most of the day on the beach and in the backyard playing softball. We wrapped up the night with fireworks on the beach. It was a beautiful day!
I may have gotten a few surprised looks from friends and neighbors, but the summer haircuts are totally worth it!
You’ll have to ignore Peter’s crabby look on the before picture. He actually ended up going to bed early and we did hair cuts in the morning.
