All things considered, we are doing pretty well around here.
Eli got a little sponge bath the other night
Spends most of the day sleeping
But is finally getting brave enough to open his eyes and see what all the noise is about.
Mark was even quick enough to get a sleepy smile on camera.
What a silly bunch we are!
The boys are keeping busy with daddy….here are some bedtime puzzles.
Daddy and Joey built a garage fort upstairs. Mark is either stuck or sleeping in his part of the garage.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Eli is home and our house is busy! Ruru is here until Wednesday (thank goodness!) and Mark goes back to work in 10 days. So far, Eli is a pretty mellow little guy. He likes to sleep (as do I) and is adjusting to getting poked at and loved by big brothers. Jenna is recovering well and enjoying wearing pajamas all day :)

SNOW BUDDIES
Normally we don’t really do a whole lot of screen time around here. But, in an effort to get Peter and Joey to stay in their beds at night we offered an incentive of 15 minutes of a racing game on Mark’s cell phone to Peter. Then, of course, Joey needed equal treatment. I’ve never made dinner with a quiet house before.
Can you believe it? Two posts in one week. (oh yeah – the boys are gone today in Michigan – free time!)
One batch of cookies will have to do this year….

I suppose since I’ve sent our Christmas cards with our blog address, I should actually continue to post stuff. Well, here’s the second part of Thanksgiving we spent in PA with Jenna’s family.

We placed a letter in each balloon and scattered them all over the property. There were enough letters to spell each kids name on the chalkboard. I think I tired them out :)

We also celebrated christmas and exchanged presents with my family while we were there.
Followed by the annual Ruru house sleepover and pancake breakfast.
We hope everyone is enjoying the season. I’m working on keeping a baby in my belly for another week. It’s more challenging than it sounds!
